Burn Notice is a television show that I have been enjoying immensely of late. Featured on the USA Network (also available on DVD), the overall story is about Michael Westen (Jeffrey Donovan), a jack-of-all-trades secret government agent that gets “burned” without warning, which is to say he suddenly loses his job and all connections, money, resources, etc., and is dumped in his hometown in Miami.
There, he gets together with some old friends, namely Fiona (Gabrielle Anwar), his ex-girlfriend (a former IRA weapons runner), and Sam (Bruce Campbell), a retired Navy S.E.A.L.. Together they take on a variety of explosive jobs helping people out, all the while trying to figure out who burned Michael, and why. All I can say about this show is that it is ingenious. Burn Notice has style. It’s enough to make anyone who watches it redo their wardrobe (read, Armani suits!). Everything about the show - the cinematography, the writing, the acting… it’s all spectacular. I am very picky about the television shows I like to watch, and this one meets or exceeds all of my expectations. So, if you haven’t given this gem a look yet, do so at your earliest convenience… you won’t be disappointed!

I LOVE BURN NOTICE!!!!
Did I mention that Michael Westen is hot??
Sure, Jeffrey Donovan is a good-looking guy, but I still think there’s something odd about his smile!
